Building Base VMs
It's helpful to have a realistic smattering of VM types. Although Windows licensing is an issue that needs to be addressed and complicates matters, Windows Servers and workstations are an inherent part of most IT infrastructures, so do make the effort to get the appropriate licenses to back your VMs.
The following instructions for building BaseVMs assume you have the appropriate .iso file on an accessible datastore.
When complete, you should have a set of VMs to use as the Parent of deployed student linked clones.
